Dragon Age Games. If you are a fan of Lord of the Rings, I am sure you will love this game. The story is not different; it is all about fairies, dwarfs, and knights who fight against bad demon’s power.
The story of Dragon Age: Origins began during 400 BC. At that time, there was a group of people who intended to enlarge its power by trying to enter the gates of heaven to take over the power-base there. But they were successfully reinforced and expelled to the Ferelden Land – and they finally transformed into a demon.
It has been told in the story that, after the tragedy, the devil began to build a black empire. They also dragged other creatures as their followers by using black magic. The creatures was then colonized the country of fairies, dwarfs, and humans. Fortunately, when the victory was almost achieved by the black kingdom, there came a new force from a group called the Gray Wardens. These warriors are a group of the chosen peoples from Ferelden land who are trained to fight against the black empire.
Choosing Race and Class
The story about the invasion of the evil creatures that were presented in this game is not just an ordinary fictional story. They will experience surprises, pleasures, and disappointments. You must choose a character that would affect the direction of the game and the way of the other knights interact with your character.
The existence of four characters that can be chosen, will make you spend a lot of time to select the weapons and the armors. Your can set your character’s appearance by a various options provided. But, the most important, you can choose the race and the class of your champ.
The choice of race and class will not only determine capabilities and available spells that owned by the character, but also affect the story plot in the first few hours of the game. You will go through one of the 6 plots prepared, which will take you to the elite league of Gray Wardens.
Can be Team-Played
During play the game, you do not need to be alone. You can invite three other characters to face killers of the black empire. You can also change the character of your companion friends who joined your adventure when you are in the headquarter. Friends who are not invited to be your companion will be stay in the headquarters.
In certain games, you can fully control your fellow and do not rely on Artificial Intelligence. If you have ever played a fantasy RPG made by BioWare before, like Baldur’s Gate or Dungeons & Dragons, of course it will not be difficult to recognize the fight system. By clicking on the target or pressing the attack button, you are not only swinging a sword, but also approached the target and set up the attack.
You can also zoom in to get the point of view of a third person who is nearer or pull back the camera to obtain a tactical view. This capability will ease you to manage every spell and attack.
Fascinating Details
Ferelden Land is presented in a colorful and fascinating appearance, plus the details of beautiful and natural fantasy. Though this game includes dwarf people, the environment remains as an ordinary human environment so that it does not seems like odd environment.
All the elements in this game are so beautifully blended so that the adventure experience is becoming more exciting and more addictive.
