However, up to now to complete this game as trilogy, in November 2009, Ubisoft announces new game on Prince of Persia that will answer its quiz. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands will return to storyline described on the first game, The Sands of Time.  Even the opening scene describing big scale combat and destruction of palace, will recall gamer on the opening of the game of The Sands of Time.

The game starts as the Persian Prince visits his relative kingdom, Malik, and found the palace surrounded by enemies. In the decision of despair, he decides to use ancient power. However, it is proved not wise decision as the effect, this witch changes all people to be sand sculptures that have evil powered.
